I have worked across various industries, designing and delivering strategic projects, communications and R&D activities for the legal, financial, tech and healthcare sectors, among others. With over 15 years of consulting experience in Mexico, Spain, and France, I have provided communication strategy and crisis management expertise. I have also advised research institutes, including the French Ministry of Education and Research, The National Institute of Geographic and Forestry Information, and the Institute of Science and Technology for Transport, as well as university spinoffs such as Ynsect and Afyren.
Having started as a practitioner before embarking on research, I am deeply committed to the societal and economic impact of research. I have leveraged my own findings to assist The French Agency for Ecological Transition in implementing KPIs and evaluation frameworks for communication performance. Additionally, I co-founded the Association for Academic Consultants (CCC) in Paris to support Knowledge Exchange practices in social sciences and designed innovative training methodologies to develop impactful research projects for the ESRC SCDTP. My work also includes initiating the Franco-Mexican Frugal Innovation research group and contributing to the FAO Virtual Learning Centre course on enabling sustainable and local food systems.
My consultancy practice is built on experience gained both as an in-house practitioner and an external advisor. I am passionate about the projects I take on and seek to collaborate on exciting initiatives that foster trust with clients and partners, enabling us to develop creative solutions and drive meaningful progress.
Industry interventions usually combine systems audits, interviews, needs assessment, co-designing solutions, hands-on implementation training, and careful follow-up. The timeframe can range from a few days to co-create a strategic blueprint or several months to support a research body’s five-year 5 strategic plan.
